Paige Shaffer (photographed left) and Joselyn Burnside (photographed right) participated in Tucker County High School’s Pharmacy Technician Certification Program this spring in partnership with St. George Medical Clinic Pharmacy. The students began the program by taking an online study course and then transitioned into working alongside the staff at the pharmacy. At the end of the program, Shaffer and Burnside will take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam to become Certified Pharmacy Technicians (CPhTs).
St. George Medical Clinic Pharmacy located in Parsons, West Virginia hosted two students from the Tucker County High School Pharmacy Technician Certification Program this spring. The two students hosted were Paige Shaffer and Joselyn Burnside, both residents of Tucker County and students at Tucker County High School.
