Citizens Bank of West Virginia has announced that Senior Vice President and Retail Banking Manager D. Randall Moore will retire on June 1, 2016.
Moore began his career with Citizens 32 years ago in 1984 as a branch manager. A year later he was promoted to assistant vice president. In 2000, he was advanced to vice president and in 2011 was appointed senior vice president and retail banking manager.
A native of Parsons, Moore graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics in 1975. He graduated from the WVBA School of Banking in 1990 and LSU Graduate School of Banking in 2001. He is a member of the Parsons High School Class of 1969.
Moore has been an active member of community organizations in Tucker County for decades, most notably the Kiwanis Club of Parsons where he was a member for 38 years and the Five Rivers Public Library where he served on the Board of Directors for 25 years – and is now designated as Director Emeritus. He is a former treasurer of the Parsons Revitalization Organization and board member of The Cortland Foundation. He is a member and trustee of the Riverview Chapel Church.
Married to Rebecca Moore, he and his wife have two children James Moore and Erin Moore, and two grandchildren: Noah and Jessyka Moore.
“Citizens is losing one of its most senior executives and the retail staff will miss his daily counsel,” commented Thomas K. Derbyshire, President & CEO. “Randy represents all the best in banking and his contributions to our bank throughout the years have been numerous. We wish him all the best in retirement.”
