TCHS Thespians qualify for the state competition

Making Tucker County High School history on Saturday, February 27, the first ever Thespian Troupe qualified for the state competition. Performing at the Area II Thespian Festival in Parkersburg, with the show Twitch by Stephen Gregg, all those involved showed their dedication by departing Tucker County at 4:30 a.m. to make the trip.

The cast and crew included: Alex Dyer, Abigail Holm, Kaylee Nedrow, Kyle Stemple, Hope Roy, Jack Melnick, Jazzmyn Hinz, Mr. Denver Gaydon, and Ms. Erin Marks. On top of qualifying for the WV State Thespian Festival, which will be held at Davis & Elkins College, Kyle Stemple won All Festival Cast 2016 and Kaylee Nedrow won Best Actress 2016 Area II Thespian Festival. Be sure to watch the state qualifying show during the spring performances at the high school.
