image2 (1)The Travelocity Roaming Gnome is in West Virginia this week and made a stop at Blackwater Falls along with several other local attractions on Wednesday and Thursday.
The gnome is visiting via a partnership with the West Virginia Division of Tourism.
“The gnome loves it. He always wants to go and explore, and he’d never been to West Virginia before so he’s loving his time here. The people have been very nice to him,” said Meredith Olian social media manager for Travelocity.
Along with his time in the area this week he will also be visiting Oglebay Zoo, go rafting by Fayette Station, and hop on the Greenbrier River Trail in Lewisburg.
West Virginians are encouraged to follow along with his travels on Twitter (@RoamingGnome) and Instagram (@RoamingGnome) where he will share photo and video highlights of his adventures.
