In acknowledgment of childcare providers, teachers and other educators of young children throughout Tucker County, the Tucker County Commission signed a proclamation May 22nd for Provider Appreciation Day. Nationally, Provider Appreciation Day, otherwise known as National Childcare Provider Day, is usually celebrated the Friday before Mother’s Day.
