The Mt. Lions Golf team started the season August 11th with a home match against Tygarts Valley and Keyser. Tucker County took the match with a score of 181. Keyser took second with a score of 226 and Tygarts Valley finished with a 223. Tucker County’s Seth Evans was low medalist for the match with a score of 42, followed by Carleigh Bolyard with a 43. Eric McCrum shot a 47 and Olivia Goff finished with a score of 49.
On August 12th Tucker County traveled to The Pines Country Club for match with Trinity. Carleigh Bolyard was low medalist in the match with a 45 to help Tucker County defeat Trinity 192-248. Eric McCrum finished with a 46 and Olivia Goff had a score of 49.
Tucker County hosted Tygarts Valley at Holly Meadows on August 13th. The Mt. Lions got the victory over the Bulldogs 191-246. Eric McCrum and Olivia Goff were low medalist with a score of 46 each for Tucker County.
On August 17th the Mt. Lions Golf team traveled to Clarksburg Country Club to face Notre Dame. The Irish took home the team win 176-207. Eric McCrum led Tucker County with a 49 followed by Carleigh Bolyard with a 51.
The Mt. Lions hosted Petersburg, Moorefield and Union at Canaan Valley on August 18th. Moorefield won the match with a score of 183, followed by Tucker County in second with a score of 196, Petersburg with a 201 and Union finished at 221.
