Tucker United hosted a Roundtable Discussion at the Tucker County Courthouse Old Courtroom October 23rd. The Discussion was open to the public and centered on the proposed Ridgeline Power Plant Project between Davis and Thomas. Thirteen people attended the meeting and discussed such topics as HB 2014 and its sus-pected impact on the project from the group’s perspective, the two appeals filed to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection over the project’s Air Quality Permit, housing and other Tucker County Statistics and an extended discussion on how the group can further the growth of business in the County. A more exten-sive discussion involved how the group can bridge the divide that exists within Tucker County between their group and others. Refreshments were provided and the group plans similar events in the future.
