The Blackwater Chapter of Daughters of American Revolution will meet on April 13 at Blackwater Falls Lodge. Lunch is at 11:30. The Meeting will begin 12:45 to 1:00 pm Our guest speakers will be Veronica Staron and Paul Torento giving a program about the Blackwater Ministerial Association Food Pantry.
Tucker County 4-H Leaders Association will be hosting and sponsoring a fun-filled Elimination Dinner on Sunday, April 28th at 4-H Camp Kidd at 2:00 pm. Your purchase of a 30.00 ticket will provide 2 dinners consisting of a delicious half chicken, green beans, coleslaw, roll, dessert, and drink. The annual Pickens Ramp supper will be held on April 20, 2024, at the American Legion Hall in Pickens, WV. Serving time will be 1 pm to 5 pm.
Menu includes Ramps, Ham, Fried Potatoes, Brown Beans, Cornbread, Cole Slaw, Applesauce, Dessert and Beverages.
Donation Adults: $20.00, Children Under 12: $10.00, Children Under 5: Free
