Red, white and blue were the colors of the month for MGC’s July Yard of the Month and Debbie Kyle’s Center street residence was selected. Her porch was accented by hanging Coleus, succulents and ferns. The yard was filled with spike mandevilla, weeping cherry trees, fire bushes, hosta, day lilies, begonias, marigolds and pansies.
Business YOM was awarded to Homeowners and business owners – April and David Simmons of All Tied Up In Shavers Fork , a Tie Dye home business. located on Center Street.
The home was decorated with wandering lavender, fuchsia, million bells as well as cucumber, pepper and tomato plants on the porch. The yard had a variety of calla lilies, black-eyed susan, hydrangea wild flowers and Hybrid spring Phlox.
