The Mountaineer Garden Club selected two residential yards of the month for September. There are so many beautiful yards to choose from that the selection can be very difficult. The first yard chosen belongs to Kim Arbaugh Bonner on Jameson Avenue and wins kudos for her beautiful colorful yard full of vincas, pansies, roses and hostas.
Marlayne Nestor home on Center Street has been carefully curated with a beautiful Bloodgood Japanese maple and a double weeping Cherry tree.. Waxed begonias in hanging baskets along with barberry and multifaceted shrubs dispersed throughout.
