DAVIS, W.Va. (June 16, 2014) – A recent fine spring afternoon found county and Chamber of Commerce officials at the Highland Food & Farm Market celebrating the Grand Opening of this unique business venture.

Conceived out of the 2013 Potomac Highlands Farm to Food Initiative group, the Highlands Food & Farm Market strives to increase availability to local, nutrient-dense foods. While providing support to local producers and new farmers, the Market promotes and provides regionally sourced, quality food and farm products.
Initially funded in part with financial support from the US Department of Agriculture RBEG and the Benedum Foundation, the market is located at 737 William Avenue (Rt. 32), Davis, WV next to Boomtown Java.
