Canaan Valley’s Landis Realty is expanding its business to two larger regional markets in Martinsburg and northern Virginia. The realty company is now offering vacation rental services throughout the local area.
“I have to go where the business is and the people are. That’s why I chose Martinsburg and NOVA,” Owner Kim Landis said. Landis also mentioned one reason for her expansion into the Martinsburg market is the opening of a Procter and Gamble manufacturing plant that brought thousands of jobs to the area.
“Martinsburg is an expanding market with a growing business community that is attracting new residents,” a press release read.
Northern Virginia is a known realty hotspot. To become a certified real estate broker in Virginia, Landis acquired her Virginia license.
Landis sees the business’ expansion into these areas of high population as an opportunity to improve services to the Canaan Valley. “My commitment to Canaan Valley is as strong as ever,” a press release read. “Over the years, we have built an outstanding team to address the needs of our clients and customers. I will continue to be an active presence in Canaan Valley.”
The vacation rental options are not exclusive to Canaan Valley. Short-term vacation rentals are also available in Davis, Thomas, and Mount Storm. “We are going to offer everything from vacation homes, townhomes, to condos,” Landis said.
Originally from Tucker County, Landis began her real estate career in 1989. “I started when I was 19 years old. I had an opportunity, and the work came very easy to me,” she said.
While in the business for 39 years, she brokered five real estate offices throughout Morgantown, Elkins, Canaan Valley, and Deep Creek Lake. She managed as many as 325 properties throughout her career.
Landis plans to provide updates on the northern Virginia expansion in the coming months. To learn more about listings, visithttps://www.landisrealtywv.com.
