Week three of the Five Rivers Public Library Summer Reading Program ends with a celebration of community heroes on Wednesday. The program, ‘Every Hero Has a Story,’ focused on community heroes, and students learned about those heroes and their jobs. Participating in the event are nurse Angiy Browning, Tucker County Deputy Sheriff Chris Teter, Parsons Volunteer Fire Fighter Preston Simmons, Tucker County EMS Tia Gidley and Ann Filler and K-9 Officer Macy with Elkins City Police Chief C.D. Cross.
