HEDGESVILLE – The Tucker County High School Cheer Squad competed in the Class “A” Region 2 Cheer Competition last Saturday November 5th at Hedgesville High School.
The Lady Mt. Lions put together a flawless technical cheer, but had difficulties with a pyramid series in the open routine that dropped their overall score to 234.15 points. Only the top 2 teams in the Regional go on to State Competition on December 10th. Clay-Battelle won the first place trophy with a score of 325.9 and second place was captured by South Harrison with a score of 282.55.
