The Chop Shop Salon is a full-service shop located in a beautiful setting a mere six minutes from Parsons. The Chop Shop Salon offers all types of services for men, women and children and the salon uses only top-of-the-line products to provide the best for their clients. PARSONS – A new salon, located just six short minutes from Parsons, offers clients nearly everything they could need.

The Chop Shop Salon owner Jill Evick said they offer a plethora of services including haircuts, color, highlights, Baliyage, perms, make-up, up-dos, pedicures, manicures, facials, tanning bed services, spray tans, face and body waxing, military cuts, permanent hair removal through electrolysis, wedding packages, glam party packages, a selfie station and photography. Evick said in the near future, they will be offering massages and healthy nails.

“I worked in military barber shops for years because I was married to a military guy,” Evick said. “The Chop Shop is appropriate for everybody from kids on up.”

Evick said one of the things people are looking for is Baliyage and this technique is something color specialist Kristin Moore specializes in. Baliyage is free-handed highlights and coloring.

“We are trying to promote Olaplex that helps the hair be healthier,” Moore said. “It helps damaged hair and also helps hair from becoming damaged. We are one of the only places offering this service.”

Darlene Lambert, former owner of Darlene’s Hair Salon is one of the stylists at The Chop Shop and Pam Kelley works part time.

The Chop Shop is in a beautiful location at 475 River Bend Estates Road, just minutes from Parsons. They are on the first Holly Meadows Road – once on Holly Meadows, take the first right on to Moss Lane Road then left on to River Bend Estates Road.

Evick said The Chop Shop is having an open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 17.

“This will give people the opportunity to stop by, meet the staff and see the salon,” Evick said. “We will have refreshments, snacks and drawing for prizes. Everyone coming can learn about all of the services we offer.”

The Chop Shop has a Facebook page @chopshopsalon. They can be reached by calling 304-621-8221. Hours include 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday or by special arrangement.

“We are the one stop shop for all your needs,” Moore said.
