Amy Mae Watson, 72, of Parsons, WV died February 24, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

She was born August 23, 1942 in Elkins, WV a daughter of the late Clinton Wilson Ross and Bessie Pearl Murphy Ross who survives. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Watson and survived by her companion of 24 years, James “Crow” Dumire. Also preceding her in death were one son, Phil Watson, two brothers, Sam and Raymond Ross and one sister, Patricia Hedrick. Survivors include two sons, Perry Watson, Elkins, WV, Ronald (Janeen) Watson, Timbersville, VA, five daughters, Tammy Watson and Nancy Watson both of Elkins, WV, Roberta Watson and Darlene Watson both of Parsons, WV, Robin Watson, Mathias, WV, daughter-in-law, Loretta Watson, four brothers, Terry Ross, Robert Ross, Roy Ross all of MI, Clinton Ross, GA, two sisters, Sheila Howell, Elkins, WV, Amanda Ross, MI, 30 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Amy was a homemaker who enjoyed her Ipad, working crossword puzzles, hunting and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Friends were received on Saturday February 28, 2015 at Hinkle Funeral Home in Davis from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. the funeral hour. At 1 p.m. the Rev. Neil Parsons will officiated. Interment followed in the Mountain State Memorial Gardens. Hinkle Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
