Barbara Ellen Teets, 75, of Manassas, Virginia passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 at her residence.

Barbara Ellen TeetsShe was born on November 30, 1938 in Hamilton, WV the daughter of the late Elmer and Nellie (Nester) Plum. She worked in Blueprints for IBM. She was the widow of Glenn O. Teets, Sr.

Survivors include; three children, Glenn O. Teets, Jr and wife Valerie of Manassas, VA, Mary Ellen Hayman of Manassas, VA, Terrance A. Teets of Manassas, VA; brothers, John Plum and wife Pat, Jack Plum and wife Carol, Elmer Plum; sister, Elma Paolone and husband Louis; ten grandchildren, Curtis Teets and wife Emily, Glenn Teets III, Jason Arrington and wife Brandy, Jacqueline Teets, Mandy Seal and husband Corey, Jennifer Sarrica, Thomas Turner, Zachery Teets and wife Christany, Christopher Teets and Jordan Raines; eight great grandchildren, Hayley Seal, Charlotte Teets, Joey Sarrica, Jacob Sarrica, Emily Arrington, Katelyn Arrington, Tyler Turner and Colton Turner; brother-in-law, Danny Teets and wife Ellen.

Funeral services were held at noon Thursday September 25, 2014 at the Blooming Rose United Methodist Church, 615 Water Street, Friendsville, Maryland. Interment was in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
