Dale Leonard Pase, 66, of Thomas, WV died January 9, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 23, 1949 in Philippi, WV a son of the late Leonard Bryan and Betty Kathleen Mosser Pase. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Lucy Rebecca Gaither Pase, brother, Kenneth Lee Pase and former special family friend, Alena Danielle Lipscomb. Survivors include 3 sons; Bryan Allen Pase, Thomas, WV, Carl Wade (Amanda Kay) Pase, Fairmont, WV, Christopher Joseph (Melissa Dawn) Pase, Thomas, WV, 1 daughter, Breanna Jade Pase and fiancé Derek Perriero, 1 sister, Reatha Jo (Andy) Friend, New Creek, WV, 2 grandchildren, Rebecca Ann Pase, Christopher Joseph Pase, Jr., and a host of family members. Dale was employed by WV State Parks for over 40 years. He was a lifelong member of the Thomas United Methodist Church, past chief of Thomas Volunteer Fire Department, he was proud of his service with both Tucker and Preston County EMS services, he enjoyed writing articles for the Parsons Advocate, was a member of Odd Fellows Lodge # 103 of Davis, and he enjoyed muscle cars and his faithful canine friends.

Friends were received on Monday January 11, 2016 at Hinkle Funeral Home in Davis from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday from noon until 1 p.m. the funeral hour at the Thomas United Methodist Church. Rev. Neal Parsons and Rev. Larry Idleman officiated. Interment followed in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.hinklefuneralhome
