Donald Louis Dumire, 65, passed away at 2:15 a.m.. on December 8, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Il.
Donald was born on December 8, 1948 in Pierce, WV; a son of Gilbert and Myrtle (Runion) Dumire.
He is survived by one son: Gilbert (Alexis) Dumire of Lincoln; one step-son: Jason (Brittany) Varner of Lincoln; two brothers: Charlie (Wanda) Dumire of Mt Pulaski and Russell (Cathy) Varner of Springfield; three sisters: Katherine Roher of Springfield, Betty (Jeff) Dempsey of Mt Pulaski, and Pauletta (Steve) Hamm of WV; one grandchild: Keegan. He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends were received at Hinkle Funeral Home, Friday December 13, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services were held December 14, 2013 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John Calloway officiating. Interment followed in Davis Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites performed by VFW Post # 10077 of 4107 MD Hwy. Deer Park, MD 21550, American Legion Post #071 of P.O. Box 492 Oakland, MD 21550 and Camp Dawson Honor Guard. Hinkle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
