Estella Ethel Shahan “Peg” Filler, age 95 years, a resident of Parsons, WV departed this life Monday morning, May 28, 2018 at Lavender Fields Assisted Living at Beverly, WV under the care of Mountain Hospice. She had been in declining health for the past six months.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday. On Thursday morning, May 31, 2018 Mrs. Filler will be moved to the Parsons First Church of the Nazarene at Parsons, WV where final rites will be conducted at 10 a.m. The Rev. Thom McAdory, the Rev. Jim Sherman, and the Rev. Larry Filler will officiate and interment will follow at the Pifer Mountain Cemetery at St. George, WV.
