Glen Clark Cunningham, Sr. passed away Saturday, November 1. 2014.
Glen, the son of the late Boyd Clark ans Stella Elliott Cunningham, was born December 14, 1927, in Sunnyside, West Virginia. His wives, Sybil Allen Cunningham and Peggy Smith Cunningham, his son, James Paul Cunningham, his grandchildren, Joe Cunningham and Wesley Elza and his great-great-granddaughter, Angel Stride preceded him in death. Glen worked as a chemist for two steel companies and for the State of West Virginia for nine and one half years before starting his sawmill career, where he retired from. He was a member of Maynard Baptist Church.

Survivors include his children; Linda (Mike) Firebaugh of Russell, Kentucky, Bud (Latrell) Cunningham of Forsyth and Barbara (Steve) Miller of Shenandoah Junction, West Virginia; step-children, Jimmy (Karen) Smith of Forsyth and Darrell Smith of Forsyth; sisters, Ruth Payton of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Peg McKinney of Crestview, Florida; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home, 212 Front St., West Union on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mike Firebaugh presiding. Interment will follow in the Cabin Run Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel one hour prior to the service. Expressions of sympathy may be extended to the family at www.spurgeonfunerals.com. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Maynard Baptist Church, P.O. Box 576, Forsyth, GA 31029. Spurgeon Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Cunningham family.
