Infant Raya Claire Simmons, three week old daughter of James Elwood “Jimmy” Simmons, II and Tessa Brianne Reynolds of Parsons, WV departed this life early Wednesday morning, December 17, 2014 at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC at Pittsburgh, PA.
She was born Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Morgantown, WV. Also surviving are her maternal grandparents, Raymond Hubert and Barbara Jean “Barbie” Hebb Reynolds; her paternal grandparents, David Wayne Simmons, Sr. and Beverly Kay Carr Simmons; her maternal great grandmother, Phyllis Jean Heckler Hebb; one aunt, Kendra Brooke Reynolds; and two uncles, David Wayne Simmons and wife April and Christopher Scott Simmons.
Preceding her in death is her maternal great grandparents, Beulah Agnes Cross Reynolds and Charles Reynolds, and Charles Fieldon Hebb; paternal great grandparents, Catherine “Louise” Phillips Simmons and James Elwood Simmons; and one uncle Michael Wayne Carr.
A Private Family gathering will be held at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home at Parsons, WV. The Rev. Larry Filler will officiate and interment will follow at the Parsons City Cemetery.
