Jacob Lyndsey Roberts, 29, of Pierce, WV passed away June 19, 2014.
He was the loving son of Theodore and Judith Lambert of Pierce. The loving brother of Ryan W. Roberts and Sarah of Fort Sill, OK, Amber Lambert Spence of Wintersprings, FL, Tyler W. Lambert of Morgantown, WV. He was preceded in death by his sister Jillian Marie Roberts. He was a wonderful uncle to Isaac, Owen, and Connor Roberts and Natalie Spence. He is also survived by grandparents Richard and Jean Myers of Auvil Town, Robert and Jeannette Lambert of Thomas, and Deloris Roberts Auvil of Hendricks. Uncle David Myers and Lynnette of Parsons, WV. Aunts Darlene Munley of Jacksonville, FL, Brenda Evans and Jerry of Naperville, IL, Linda Nichols and Pat of Davis, WV, Cindy Snyder and Bill of Thomas, WV, Penny Kidwell and Alan of Thomas. Robert, Frank, and Kelly Roberts and Roxanne Tuesing of Hendricks, WV, numerous cousins, and multiple friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal Aunt Rebecca Myers, and his Uncle Scott Lambert.
Jacob was a member of the Mountaintop Hunting club. He loved to hunt, fish, camp, and run the “Super Jeep”. He loved to be with his friends and always had a smile on his face. Jacob was truly loved by everyone who ever met him. He was stranger to none and giver to all.
Jacob was a graduate of Tucker County High School and Nashville Auto Diesel College. He worked in auto body and auto mechanics. He was a certified electrician/mechanic for Mettiki Coal.
Friends were received at Hinkle Funeral Home on Saturday, June 21 from 4-8 p.m.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m, Sunday, June 22 at Hinkle Funeral Home with Rev. Pat Cassidy officiating. Interment followed in Macedonia Cemetery.
