James Daniel Griffith, age 59 years, a resident of Parsons, WV, departed this life Monday, January 6, 2020 at his home.
He was born August 19, 1960 in Tucker County, a son of the late Thomas “Jack” Griffith and Opal Snyder Griffith.
Surviving are two sons, James Daniel Griffith, Jr. and wife Shauna of Parsons, and Joshua Scott Griffith and wife Debbie of Parsons; three grandchildren, Jayden, Norah and Jackson, all of Parsons; his dear brother, Michael Griffith and wife Mary of Hambleton and many more beloved friends and family.
Mr. Griffith enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and playing Friday night poker. He loved going on four-wheeler rides and spending time outdoors. He was a member of the Riverview Chapel Church in Parsons and he was a thirty plus year employee of the West Virginia Department of Highways.
A Celebration of Life service will take place at the Riverview Chapel Church at Porterwood, WV on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 5 PM. The Reverend James Snyder will officiate.
