James “Marty” Martin Hamrick

James “Marty” Martin Hamrick, 58, of Davis, West Virginia passed away at his home on January 17, 2020 He was born December 6, 1961 in Baltimore, Maryland a son of George Austin and Doris Anna Wilfong Hamrick.

He was preceded in death by his partner, Karen Hornberger on February 17, 2019, paternal grandparents, Benjamin Hamrick and Versie Lewis, and maternal grandparents, James “Jim” and Rosa Wilfong.

He is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Bennett and husband Jeff of Job, West Virginia, one brother, Travis Hamrick and partner Kim of Canaan Valley, West Virginia, two sisters, Cheryl Fields and husband Jake of Dryfork, West Virginia and Pamela Hamrick Knotts of Dryfork, West Virginia, two grandchildren, Luke and Pheobe Bennett of Job, West Virginia, a special aunt, Lena Davis, two nephews, Travis and Brandyn Hamrick, one niece, Sabrina Helmick, and two special loved ones, Sharon and Allen Crossland.

Marty Graduate from Tucker County High School in 1979 He worked in the carpentry industry throughout his life. He was a member of the FOE#936. He enjoyed hunting, playing music, and watching NASCAR.
At the request of Mr. Hamrick, he will be cremated. Friends will be received at Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home Saturday, January 25, from 4 – 7 p.m., with a memorial service being held at 7 p.m. Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
