James Michael “Jim” Kee, age 74 years, a native of Hambleton, WV and more recently a resident of The ARC Group Home of Elkins, WV departed this life Friday morning, December 13, 2019 at the Davis Medical Center at Elkins, WV.

He was born Tuesday, October 11, 1945 at Hambleton, WV, a son of the late William Denzel and Ernestine Alice Sine Kee.

Surviving are three brothers, William “Bill” D. Kee, Jr. and wife Jalayne of Quakertown, PA, John W. Kee and wife Jerri of Charleston, and Robert “Bob” E. Kee and wife Jordan of Chatham, VA; three sisters, Alice Kee Ring of Milwaukee, WI, Anne Kee Munford of Smithfield, VA and Kathy Kee McCune and husband Larry of Hambleton; and several nieces and nephews.

He attended Hamrick Grade School and was a member of the Hambleton Methodist Church.  Jim made his home in Elkins and was lovingly cared for by the ARC Group Home.  Jim liked to work puzzles, arts and crafts and watching westerns on TV.  He loved cats, enjoyed doing laundry and spending time outside.

Private graveside service will take place at the Parsons City Cemetery at Parsons, WV.  The Reverend Jim McCune will officiate and interment will follow.  The family suggest that expressions of sympathy be in the form of contributions to the Hambleton Methodist Church at Hambleton, WV 26269.   The Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons is in charge of the arrangements for James Michael “Jim” Kee.  Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.lohrbarbfuneralhome.com
