Judith Ann Carr

Peggy MacKenzie by Peggy MacKenzie
February 12, 2014

Judith Ann Carr, 71, slipped away silently and peacefully surrounded by family and friends at Garrett County Memorial Hospital. Judy was a long term resident of Thomas, WV. She retired from work after 30 years at Blackwater Falls where she was a devoted employee. She enjoyed working with the public, but her passion was enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. She especially enjoyed watching the bears over her many dedicated years. Her hobbies were feeding humming birds and crocheting.

Judy leaves behind a very loving family, including two beautiful daughters; Lisa Paugh of Davis and Lori Carr of Thomas, two wonderful and loving grandchildren, Holly Paugh of Keyser and Aaron Paugh of Thomas. She also leaves behind some of the most loyal friends anyone could ask for. Her death leaves behind a lesser world to live in, but a much greater heaven to look forward to. We are all better people having known her.

At her request, there will be a private service at Hinkle Funeral Home.
