Lunsford,JuliaAnnJulia Ann Lunsford, 75, a resident of Parsons, passed from this life Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center.
Julia was born Monday, May 5, 1941 in Columbus, OH, a daughter of the late Rose and Louis Bargy Jr. She was the third of four children.
Left to cherish her memory are four children, Sherri Davies, Frederica Whitmore, Mark Lunsford and Jeannie Keil, one sister, Betty Keaton, six grandchildren; Jami Schultz, Mindi Brock, Kimberly Whitmore, Forrest Lunsford, Hunter Lunsford and Scott Davies and three great grandchildren; Sadi Schultz, Sethaniel and Jaxon Schuett.
Preceding Julia in death besides her parents were two brothers, Louis Bargy III and Morris Bargy.
Julia lived a very full life, traveled the US in her later years and was a supporter of the Parsons West Virginia Senior Center & Red Hat Society.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Elkins Rehabilitation & Care Center and Mountain View Hospice for their support in his final days.
Julia’s request was that there will be no visitation or funeral, however, there will a celebration of her life at a later date. The family suggests that memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 . Condolences may be sent to Sherri Davies at 1019 Haltonia Drive, Columbus Oh 43228.The Hostetler Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Julia A. Lunsford.
