Kathryn Eleanor Teter, 84, of Dry Fork, WV passed away October 1, 2013 at her home.
She was born September 5, 1929 in Elkins, a daughter of the late John and Goldie Burns Varner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas T. Teter in February 2013, one son, Keith Teter, and one brother, Carl Varner. She is survived by two grandchildren, Brian Teter, North Carolina, and April (Aaron) Allen, Keyser, WV, one brother, Joe Varner, Dry Fork, WV, four sisters, Juanita Mallow, Dry Fork, WV, Anna Lee Lawrence, Hambleton, Grace Wolford, Dry Fork, and Jennie Teter, Ohio, three great-grandchildren, Logan, Amber, and Briana Teter, North Carolina.
Ms. Teter enjoyed farming, gardening, and cooking. She was a member of the Harman VFW Women’s Auxiliary.
Friends were received Tuesday, October 8, 2013 from 1-2 p.m. at Hinkle Funeral Home with a memorial service following at 2 p.m. with Rev. Paul Allen officiating. Interment followed in Buena Cemetery.
