Leona Ellen Vest Beyer, age 96 years, a native of Parsons, WV and a resident of New Port Richey, FL, departed this life Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at New Port Richey, FL.
She was born Thursday, June 28, 1917 at Parsons, WV, a daughter of the late Harvey W. and Martha Susan Summerfield Vest. She was married to Ferdinand Beyer, who preceded her in death during 2003.
Surviving are her loving daughter Constance Beyer Ramp and husband Lester of FL; one brother, Earl Richard Vest and wife Margie of VA; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are three sons, Robert Beyer, Ronald Beyer and infant, Ferdinand Beyer, Jr.; five brothers, George Washington Vest, Harvey Carl Vest, Roy Lee Vest, Glenn Robert Vest and Paul Edward Vest.
She attended the schools of Parsons, WV. She lived most of her life in Sharon, PA, before moving to New Port Richey, FL in 1989. She was a homemaker.
Graveside services will be conducted at the Florida National Cemetery. Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons, WV.
