Linda Lucille Nestor Goss, 66, a resident of Parsons, passed from this life Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Hospice Inpatient Center in Elkins.

Linda was born Wednesday, March 26, 1958, in Parsons, a daughter of the late Marvin Ray Nestor and Violet Mary Wotring.  On September 15, 1985, in Loch Lynn Heights, Md, she was married to Danny Charles Goss, who preceded her in death on January 28, 2019.  They had celebrated thirty-three years of marriage.

Left to cherish Linda’s memory is a son, Danny Allan Goss of Broomfield, Colorado, a brother, Marvin Delmas Nestor and wife, Shirley, of Horseshoe Run, two nephews, Marvin Chad Nestor and Denver Ray Nestor, and many friends.

Linda was a graduate of Parsons High School with the Class of 1976 and had worked as a CNA for Cortland Acres Nursing Home, as a receptionist for a dental office, as a coal miner, and was still employed as a teller at Mountain Valley Bank where she had worked for eighteen years.  Linda enjoyed riding her bicycle in her younger years, her flowers, reading, walking, being outdoors, yard sales and flea markets.  She was so proud of her son and loved him very much.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Parsons.

Linda’s request for cremation will be honored.  The Hostetler Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Linda Lucille Nestor Goss.  Send online condolences to the family at www.hostetlerfuneralhome.com.
