Linda Mae Huffman Lycliter

Linda Mae Huffman Lycliter, age 81 years, a resident of Parsons, WV, departed this life Tuesday evening, March 10, 2026, at her home. She had been in declining health, however death was unexpected.

She was born Monday, October 2, 1944, at Thomas, WV, a daughter of the late Harvey James Huffman and Emma Lantz Huffman. On November 4, 1959, at Western Port, MD, she was married to Donald Lee Lycliter, who survives. They had celebrated sixty-six years of marriage.

Also surviving are one son, Donald Jamie Lycliter and wife Teresa of Parsons; two daughters, Debra Ann “Debbie” Sharp and husband Eddie and Sharon Lynn Young, all of VA; two sisters, Ruth Huffman of FL, and Jenny Moats of MD; five grandchildren, Scott, Traci, Stephanie, Kaitlyn and Eddie; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death is one son, Robert Lee Lycliter; one brother, Jimmy Huffman; four sisters, Susie Smith, Delores Cox, Mary Moats and Sherry Walters; and one grandchild, Michelle.

She attended school at Thomas, WV. Linda was a homemaker, who enjoyed cooking, crocheting, quilting and playing Bingo. She had previously worked at the former shoe factory and Cortland Acres. She loved to listen to gospel music and was a member and faithful attendant of the Hambleton Church of God, until her health prevented her from attending. Linda dearly loved her entire family, and especially her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons, WV on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 4 PM to 6 PM. Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 11 AM. The Reverend James Snyder will officiate and interment will follow at the Parsons City Cemetery at Parsons, WV. The Lohr & Barb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Linda Mae Huffman Lycliter. Condolences may be expressed to the family at; www.lohrbarbfuneralhome.com.
