Mary Ellen Daff, 72, of Parsons, died September 25, 2013 at Cortland Acres. She was born February 7, 1941 in Preston County, a daughter of the late William and Virginia McGill Poling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Daff. She is survived by three sons, William Williams, Philippi, James Williams, Newburg, and Robert Williams, Buckhannon, one daughter, Vickie Sharp, Independence, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Ms. Daff was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, reading, and doing circle word searches.
Friends were received Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Hinkle Funeral Home from 1-2 p.m. followed by the funeral service hour at 2: p.m. with Reverend John Callaway officiating. Interment followed in Rose Hill Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.hinklefuneralhome.com
