Paul “Donnie” Forrester Ends

Paul “Donnie” Forrester Ends, 84, a resident of Parsons, passed from this life Sunday, November 30, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family and under the care of West Virginia Caring. He had been in declining health.

Donnie was born Thursday, March 20, 1941, in Parsons, a son of the late Doyle Cleophas Ends and Lalah Nan Jones Ends. On June 16, 1963, at Lewisburg, he married Betty Jane Crews Ends, who survives. They had celebrated sixty-two years of marriage.

Left to cherish Donnie’s memory is a son, Paul David Ends and wife, Theresa, a daughter, Debbie Ends Cowden and husband, Eric, five grandchildren, Jordan and wife, Courtney, Eric, Halea and husband, Kyle, Cole, and Kari, six grandchildren, Austin, Brian, Ciara, Everett, Scarlett and Jaxon, one brother, Sherley Ends and wife, Jane, two sisters, Irene Demoss and Dottie Lou Sponaugle, two sisters-in-law, Kate and Gloria Ends, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Donnie in death besides his parents are two brothers, Lawrence and Scottie Ends, two brothers-in-law, Charles Demoss and Bryon Sponaugle.

Donnie attended Tucker County schools and received his diploma from the American Correspondence School of Chicago, IL and served with the U.S. Army. He had been employed as a computer repairman with the Burrougs Corp for twenty-nine years and in maintenance with Camp Horseshoe for seven years. Donnie was a Methodist by faith. He enjoyed fishing, working, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at the Pifer Mountain Cemetery on Monday, December 8, 2025, at 11 am. Rev. Justin Jones will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Tucker Community Foundation, P.O. Box 491, Parsons, WV 26287 – C/O Camp Horseshoe.
