Ray loved to garden and share his knowledge of heirloom seeds. Ray was Protestant in faith.
We all loved Ray for an infinite number of reasons, as his wife, I feel so blessed and am thankful for the wonderful life we shared.
Ray was a magnificent man, a loyal loving husband, and a true friend to me.
In addition he was a devoted father and grandfather to my children and grandchildren. Although my girls did not enter the world through his body, but they entered the world through his heart, the bond they shared was unlike any other connection. Jennifer, Amy, Carrie and the grandchildren cherished the love and support he showered upon them.
He provided us with a never-ending sense of physical safety and emotional security. He loved working long hours to provide our family with a comfortable lifestyle. He loved and accepted each of us. He was a good man, an extraordinary husband and outstanding father and grandfather who will be loved and missed by all.
Ray’s request for cremation is being honored. He also requested that his memorial service be held “during good weather”. Time and date is undecided.
Memorial tributes can be made in Ray’s memory to the Tucker County Senior Citizens, Inc. 217 Senior Lane, Parsons, WV
