Richard Paul “Dick” Nutting, 79 of Lexington, IN, passed away at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at his home.
Born May 31, 1936 in Shelby Township, MI, he was the son of Gordon Paul Nutting and Beulah Melissa (Knights) Nutting who are both deceased.
A resident of Lexington since 2006 moved from Michigan with his companion Dorothy Carson who survives.
Dick was a retired engineer from Cadillac Gauge in Frazier, Michigan. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and farming. He was good working with his hands by tinkering and working on projects.
Other survivors include three children, one son Rick (Debbie) Nutting of Boca Raton, Florida, two daughters, Peggy (Daryl) Rencich of Valparaiso, IN, Kathy (Dave) Phillips of Parsons, West Virginia, seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren, one brother, David Allen (Riki) Nutting of Harrison, Township, MI.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Gordon Nutting and one sister, Margaret Jean Ewert.
Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Scottsburg has been entrusted with cremation services. No formal services are scheduled.
