Robert Lee Nine, age 86 years, a resident of the St. George Community, Parsons, WV, departed this life Tuesday evening, April 1, 2025, at Davis Medical Center, Elkins, WV.

He was born Thursday, January 19, 1939, at Location Road, St. George, WV, a son of the late Junior Howard Nine and Daisy Mae Wotring Nine. He had never married.

Surviving are four brothers, Nick Nine and wife Delores of Hambleton; Ronald Nine and wife Darlene of Bruceton Mills, Luther Nine and wife Reva of Blackman Flats and John Nine of Location Road; five sisters, Wanda Nine, Shirley Nine and Mary Nine, all of Location Road, Sharlet Lipscomb of Kingwood and Betty Petersen and husband Curt of Crystal Lake, IL; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Preceding him in death are two brothers, Amos David Nine and George Kenneth Nine; and three sisters, Jane Ellen Nine Curtiss, Beverly Kay Nine and Margurite Ruth Nine; one brother in law, John Curtiss of TX;

He attended the Fairview School. He was a timber cutter, drove log truck and did several jobs at sawmills and cut pulp wood. After retirement, he enjoyed riding his tractor, brush hogged and he kept the farm mowed and also other odd jobs on the farm, which he loved dearly. As a youngster, he attended the Fairview Church of God.

A Graveside service took place on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025, at 11 AM at the Limestone Cemetery at St. George, WV. Rev. Lowell Moore will officiate and interment followed.
