Thomas Raeford Gurley, Jr., 74, of Eglon, WV passed away August 5, 2017 in Oakland, MD. He was born October 28, 1942 in Goldsboro, NC a son of the late Thomas Raeford Sr. and Hester Elizabeth Bailey Gurley.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Bibb Gurley, two daughters, Patricia (John) Bruce and Debra (Bill) Thomas, four grandchildren, Anthony Curry, Thomas Curry, Ashley Thomas, and Micheal Thomas, one great-grandson, Jase Curry, and one brother, Phillip (Kim) Gurley. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Miller and Ritta Wing.
Mr. Gurley retired from General Motors in Baltimore, MD. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time teaching his grandchildren how to ride the lawn mower and taking them fishing. He was a member of FOE #936 and the American Legion Post 71.
