Timothy Phillip “Timmy” Barkley, age 61 years, a resident of Hambleton, WV departed this life Monday evening, September 13, 2021, at the Genesis Rosewood Center at Grafton, WV. Death was unexpected.
He was born Sunday, February 7, 1960, at Baltimore, MD, a son of the late and Edward Woodrow Barkley and Bertie Viola Davy Barkley, who survives at Thomas. He had never married.
Surviving are five brothers, David Edward Barkley and wife Kathy of Philippi, Russell Lee Barkley of Bretz, Edward Lynn Barkley and wife Jackie of Flemington, Donald Alvin Barkley and wife Rebecca of Parsons and Daniel William Barkley and wife Tonya of Hambleton; and several nieces and nephews,
He attended the schools of Parsons, WV. He loved his keys, badges and handcuffs, Big Macs and vanilla milk shakes. Tim loved people, especially his family. He never complained and always had a smile. He had attended the Parsons Church of God.
The family received friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons, WV, on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. Final rites were conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at 11 a.m. The Rev. James Snyder officiated and interment followed at the Bayard Cemetery at Bayard, WV. The Lohr & Barb Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements for Timothy Phillip “Timmy” Barkley.
