Vickie Ann (Saunier) Kepner

Vickie Ann (Saunier) Kepner, 65, a resident of Hambleton, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the Hospice Care Regional Inpatient Center after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Vickie was born on April 8, 1949 to the late Larry and Betty Saunier. She was raised in Louisville, Ohio where she attended St. Louis Elementary School and graduated from Louisville High School in 1967. Vickie married the late Charles D. Kepner in 1978 and moved to Hambleton in 1980. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Michael and a sister-in – law, Janet Saunier. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her sisters, Jodi (Gus) Cespedes and Cynthia Saunier of Ohio; her brothers, Terry of Wisconsin, and Scott (Merlinda) and Todd Saunier of New Mexico; stepsons, Frank and John of Ohio and Joe (Sherry) Kepner of California and their children; her aunt Nancy Starcher of Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial and celebration of her life was held Thursday, February 19 at the Hendricks Methodist Church at 2 p.m. followed by a light dinner and social hour. Vickie’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all of the kind and caring people who generously gave their time to help Vickie through her difficult time. Vickie was truly blessed to have so many wonderful people in her life and the family truly appreciates it.
