Virginia Eileen “Jennie” Ferrell

Virginia Eileen “Jennie” Ferrell, age 83, went home to be with the Lord on September 4, 2014.

Born in Leadmine, W.Va., she lived in the Akron area most of her life.

Jennie retired from Akron City Hospital as an LPN, and was a member of TOPS OH #1384. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and enjoyed reading in her spare time. She loved being “Mammaw” to all, and spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ruth Lipscomb; husband, Everett Ferrell; son, Gary Collett; brothers, Bob and Chet; sister, Poke; stepson, Garry; and stepdaughter, Joyce; she is survived by son, Rusty (Nancy) Collett; daughters, Karol Jean (John) Underwood and Mary “Tink” (Clayton) Knotts; stepchildren, Carol Dine, Donald Ferrell and Ruth (Shelly) Craft; grandchildren, Todd, Cari, Mikey, Lisa, Chris, Misty,

Melissa (Meme), Nattalie, Beth, Matthew, Kyle, Chaunté, Christopher, Seth, Ethan, Rick and Amy; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Katlynn, Megan, Bryce, Kaitlin, Ian, Caleb, Zackery, Brandon, Madison, Emily, Andrew, Jacob,

Nicholas, Paul, Danielle, Brayden, Karina, Kadence, Trinity and Damon; brothers, Allen, Randolph, Rodney and Gary Lipscomb; and sisters, Mary

Litman and Carol Godfrey along with many other friends and family.
