Wanda Hinkle paintingThis is a picture that was painted by Wanda Miller Hinkle. She was a daughter of the Oscar C. and Edith Grace Lockrey Miller. On March 23, 1951 she was married to Paul Shelton Hinkle.  She graduated from  Parsons High School with the Class of 1949 and went on to graduate from Berea College as well. She had worked as a secretary for the Boeing Company. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Parsons. She so much liked her church that she left money for renovations for the kitchen. Wanda and Paul enjoyed traveling and had visited most every country in the world. She enjoyed tending flowers and plants.  She did art work as hobby.  She was rather an accomplished artist and many of her pieces of her art work were sold after her death. Ideas or comments contact Tim Turner (304) 478-3389.
