The Tucker County Historical Society is holding an open house event to showcase the Parsons Depot, a historical structure built by Senator Henry Gassaway Davis’ West Virginia Central & Pittsburgh Railway (Re: attachment above). The depot is a connecting point to the rail trail at Parsons. The Historical Society is seeking donations to restore the depot, set up a permanent display, and house a gift shop. Your participation in this important event is encouraged.
