I am so happy with my brother’s recovery so far. He has been so up-beat and positive that it makes me so proud of him. He even felt like going fishing this past week and managed to catch one of the biggest rainbow trout of all his fishing adventures.
He goes back in a few weeks for a pet scan and hopefully it will show good progress. It is my hope that he sees his grandchildren grow into fine young people and all live a very productive life. He is so important to me that I will accept nothing but a full recovery. Momma Said, “Don’t burn all your bridges, there is always hope.”
He is still having trouble with his voice but I hope that will be temporary. I think getting out and doing the things he loves to do is a good medicine. He loves to fish and be out with his dogs so if that is what it takes to make him beat this disease, then so be it.
The mind I s a powerful weapon and if it is used correctly, you can build mountains out of mole hills, cross the deepest oceans and make all things possible. That is my belief and I will it to be so.
