The hits just keep coming.
We have experienced another loss, my sister’s little dog passed away last week and she is devastated. She just lost her husband in October and now this. I helped put her to rest in the back yard. A reader sent me a book after the passing of my girl, Abby. The book is entitled “When You Lose the Pet You Love.” It has been very helpful and I am going to pass it on to my sister. I want to thank Ms. Shahan for the thoughtful gift. Momma Said, “Pay it forward and it will come back tenfold.”
I did get a rare gift this past week, as I was driving down the road just outside of Parsons, I spotted a pair of bald eagles gracefully soaring over the river. It was a sight to behold as I have never been that close to these magnificent creatures. It took my breath away for a second. We have had people sight the birds in the area, but I never guessed I would get to see both of them at the same time.
I don’t think we could have picked a better symbol for our country than this beautiful creature. It symbolizes the strength and freedom that our wonderful country stands for. I just hope this nation can regain the glory that seems to have slipped away in recent times. We need to reunite and work together to make this country whole again. Momma Said, “The load is lighter when everyone carries their share.”
I love this country and my heart bleeds every time I watch the news. I don’t understand the violence that people can inflict upon one another. The unrest needs to stop and people need to work together to bring about the change this planet needs. Momma Said, “Love your brother as you would love yourself.”
