The Parsons Advocate

As we get older we find that we do a lot of things that we considered bad as a child.  Consider this; we now eat all our vegetables, which we did not want to do as a child.  We go to bed early, which was considered a punishment when we were younger and we would rather stay home than go out.  Momma Said, “Have we matured or are we going back to right all the wrongs we did as our younger selves?”

I wish I could go back and do a lot of things over.  I am sure my life would have turned out different but I guess I am where I am supposed to be for a reason.  Do you go down the path less traveled or do you stick to the main highway of life?  It is a toss-up, a 50-50 chance that you do things right.  And if things did turn out wrong you wouldn’t know it anyway.  What is supposed to be right or wrong?

You do your best in life to treat people the right way, try to live your life to the fullest and bring joy to yourself and others.  We never know what is around the corner in life and you just have to be ready to embrace what is thrown at you.  Sometimes you feel as if you are being overwhelmed but God will not give you more than you can handle.

You have to trust that your actions are not going to hurt yourself or others and I think our worst fault these days is Face Book.  Things are said that cannot be taken back and everyone sees these posts and have a knee jerk reaction.  Please stop and think how your words can be misunderstood and taken out of context.  Momma Said, “Stop and think how would you feel if you were on the other end of your conversation.”
