Guess who is back in the news? “Destructo Gracie” is at it again. I have one less throw pillow on my couch. It looked like a snow storm hit my living room with stuffing everywhere and I had to have the repairman from Dish come and put new wires on my satellite. I came home from work and got everything done around the house so I could watch my shows and guess what, no service.
I did all the standard stuff like unplugging the unit and resetting everything with no success. I don’t know what prompted me to go look outside at the dish. There were wires everywhere, some parts missing so I don’t know if she swallowed anything or not. That cost over $100 for the repairman to come and rewire the satellite.
I hope my readers don’t think I am making all this stuff up because I am living each disaster. Honestly I don’t think I could make up this much stuff up if I tried. Momma Said, “My new motto is Livin’ the Dream just think positive thoughts.” I don’t know what else to do so it is just a surprise every day I come home from work, what has she done today.
I was going to talk about how the trees are turning already and it is just a shame that everything in the area is canceled. This will be the most color we have had in a few years for the Forest Festival and now hundreds of people are going to miss out. Also the annual Leaf Peepers is canceled and that would bring a lot of much needed revenue to the area. It is going to be spectacular.
