Momma Said

I DO NOT like this time change stuff. Yuck and Yuck! It feels like it is midnight when it is only 8 p.m. I can’t adjust and neither can my animals. The dogs and cats are on their own schedule and it is definitely interfering with mine. So basically I adjust to them so I don’t have to clean up any messes. Momma Said, “They are all good girls, but anyone can have an accident.”
They are really good to go to the door and let me know if they need in or out, even the cats let me know. I can’t fault any of them because they are really good pets and I love them the more for it. I am having a hard time coming to terms with my golden retriever, Bailey, having cancer. I found more masses on her and the vet is taking them off. Cancer is such a terrible disease. It does not discriminate with anyone or anything. I really feel bad because I can’t ask her if she is hurting or sick. I can read her pretty well and can tell if she is not quite up to par. Momma Said, “When her time comes, she is going to leave a big hole in my heart.”
It does not take them long to worm their way into your heart, and she has been with me for 10 years. That is a long time to have something in your life. I know she is not going to live forever, but I hate that her life will be cut shorter by this horrible disease. I will keep her healthy as long as I can but I will not let her suffer either. Momma Said, “She will have the best life a dog can have for as long as possible.”
There are a lot of pet lovers out there and I am sure you know how I feel. They are my family right along with my sisters and brother. They are all loved and cherished. So keep them safe, warm and dry. A pet doesn’t ask for much, besides food and water all they want is your love. They will give it back ten fold.
