Drugs are going to destroy this country.
The younger generation sees them as a way out. And I can’t just pinpoint younger people, I see in the news all the time of people in their 50’s and 60’s that are just as hooked as anyone. I don’t see the appeal of walking around like a zombie. The only thing that is important is getting the next fix. Nobody seems to matter in their lives anymore, family, friends, their job is all gone.
And it is not only this country, it seems to be worldwide. It used to be marijuana and cocaine, now it is heroin and meth mixed in the bunch as well. Momma Said, “Along with all the “designer drugs” out there it is enough to scare you to death.” We didn’t see a lot of this growing up and it is sad today to see children neglected, families torn apart and good people going down the wrong path. This junk takes away the good in people and changes them into someone that can’t be trusted or even recognized.
I know some people going through this right now and it is sad to see a beautiful life destroyed by this poison. I hope that a miracle will happen and life can be restored. The sad thing is seeing beautiful children separated from their family by this. My wish is one day everyone would wake up and see what they are missing. Momma Said, “You can never recover time and that is the one thing that is most precious.”
I pray for everyone afflicted by addiction. I pray for them to wake up and realize what they are missing. Time is a precious commodity and if it is wasted, then it is gone forever. It is not something that can be purchased at the store or reclaimed. Once it is gone, it is gone. Time lost with children will be sorely missed in the days to come. Momma Said, “Join me and pray for the lost soles, pray they see the light at the end of the tunnel as a beginning and not an end.”
