Momma Said, “You have to believe God created friends as a special gift to people.” I have friends that I can count on for anything. They are very special to me and when one of them hurts, I hurt. And friends can come in any shape or size and they don’t all have to be people.
I have two friends right now that are having a hard time. One is my best friend and she is constantly in my thoughts. I pray that everything will be alright with her and I place my faith in God to see her through this tough time. My other friend is my dog, Abby, who had to have knee surgery. This is her second time having this procedure. A few years back the same thing happened to her right knee, now it is the left.
As I write this, she is having her procedure done and I have yet to hear anything from the doctor. Momma Said, “No news is good news.” So I hope she will get through as well as she did the first time. She is older now and that is the only real concern.
Life is never dull around me things are always going in two different directions at the same time. I guess that keeps life interesting. What is it called in the magazines, “The Spice of Life”? I am not sure, but I guess it certainly keeps me on my toes.
This week I will leave you with a very easy, yet yummy, dessert. Mix it all in one bowl and dirty one pie pan. Simple and easy, but oh so good. Enjoy!
